School Information
The school district is Independent School District 716. This is a respected and nationally recognized K-12 public school district. District 716 serves approximately 1,500 students in grades K-12.

The Belle Plaine High School Activities Department believes it is vital to provide programs to enrich the student experience. To that end, BPHS provides over thirty activities for students to assist in the development of the overall student.
Belle Plaine belongs to the Minnesota State High School League and the Minnesota River Conference. Belle Plaine has been consistently competitive in both fine arts and athletic contests. This is certainly due to the cooperation of parents, students, administrators and activity supervisors. This tradition of excellence continues at BPHS and this has helped create much excitement for spectators and participants alike.

Tax Information
The taxing body in regards to the property is governed by Scott County. Each property's share of the tax is determined according to its value, use and property tax levies. The Scott County Assessor is responsible for setting classifications for tax purposes and estimating values throughout the County. New property is generally assessed shortly after occupancy. Additionally, appraisers visit the properties every four years and estimate or adjust the values between visits based on sales. Click here to visit the Scott County website.
